A Cheshire-based employee of Redrow housing group has scooped a regional award.

Simon Woodhouse, from Nantwich, was named as Sales Consultant of the Year at their annual customer conference.

It has been a varied role for Simon since he started at Redrow 7 years ago. Based at the Kingsbourne development, Simon commented.

"I am over the moon to have won this award. I've worked really hard on the Kingsbourne development, and I feel my hard work has paid off and I have been rewarded for that."

The Kingsbourne development is a 1,100 development in Nantwich that is now in its final phase of completion and Simon, who lives in the area with his wife and children, loves the challenge that the job brings.

"I've always worked in sales, but it was only when I bought a house to renovate that I became really interested in property and thought about selling houses as a job," said Simon, 34.

"I applied for the role at Redrow and got it and I've never looked back. I now get to help people find their dream home and that's something I am very passionate about."

Jason Newton, managing director at Redrow NW, said: "Simon is a real asset to the team and a great sales consultant. He understands Redrow's online reputation, resulting in Kingsbourne being a top-performing development on Trustpilot and Google reviews. This has been instrumental in making Kingsbourne one of the best-performing developments in the group."

Redrow is one of the largest homebuilders in the country, building 5,500 homes nationally last year. In Cheshire East, they have developments in Congleton, Knutsford and Crewe, and Northwich alongside the Kingsbourne development.
