IN the wake of a survey published this month the Co-op and Cruse Bereavement Support, the UK's leading bereavement charity have announced the launch of a new partnership to help people talk to each other about death and grief more openly.
As Macclesfield and the rest of the country continues to cope with the legacy of the coronavirus pandemic, many people who have suffered bereavement are finding themselves alone, with no one to turn to.

Co-op is offering to send free 'pick-me-up' packs to people in Macclesfield in support of World Mental Health Day this week.
Sunday 10 October is World Mental Health Day. The pandemic has affected the mental health of millions of people. Support is vital but how easy it is to access can depend on where you live or who you are.
Co-operate is an online community centre bringing people in Macclesfield together to make good things happen.
Whether you want to find things to do, volunteer, join a group or set up your own – it's for people who care about their community and want to join forces to get things done.
