New Macclesfield School of Art

Located within the original Macclesfield School of Art building, now the Silk Museum, the New Macclesfield School of Art is run by artist and teacher Becca Smith.

Becca is passionate about and dedicated to enabling everyone to learn life-long fine art and heritage crafts skills, and to using art as a resource for wellbeing, enrichment, creative thinking and contributing to our cultural community.

The New Macclesfield School of Art offers one-off workshops, short courses, bespoke one-to-one or small group sessions, Arts Awards for home educated children and young people, plus community fine art and heritage craft projects.

@newmaccartschool offers excellent value-for-money sessions, with expert teachers and artists delivering workshops in fine art painting, printmaking, textiles, natural dyes, illustration, drawing and more.
