Communities Engagement Leader
The Role
We are looking for a Seasonal Communities Engagement Ranger to help us deliver our well-established environmental education service.
The Peak District National Park's Young People and Communities Team has a fantastic reputation in engaging young people with the natural world, through outdoor learning and field studies.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working in the outdoors and inspiring young people to connect with the National Park.
This is a seasonal role working primarily at Macclesfield Forest but with opportunities to work at other locations across the National Park.
The post requires higher availability (e.g. 3 days per week) during the peak delivery season (e.g. from March to November but excluding school holidays), and lower availability (e.g. average 1 day/week) in other months and school holidays.
Provisional interview date: Wednesday, 26 April.
About You
We are looking for someone who is able to be engaging and inspire young people of all ages. Someone who can work well in a team and independently. With a focus on high standard of delivery, safeguarding and health and safety.
