Carer/PA One to one Support (Self Employed)
16PH
This is a care position like no other.
You won't simply be providing support — you'll be carefully matched with your own client based on your interests, personality, and experience.
It's a role that offers genuine fulfilment and the chance to make a powerful difference in someone's life every single day.
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of safeguarding and a bright, engaging, positive attitude.
You need that spark — that fire in your belly — to help someone live a richer, more connected, more joyful life.
You'll support them to enjoy hobbies, build social connections, and feel confident in their independence.
You must be articulate and a great communicator, able to build trust, motivate, and create meaningful connections.
Clear communication is essential for supporting your client and working effectively within the team.
You must also be a driver with use of a car large enough to safely carry a collapsible wheelchair, as community access and outings are an important part of this role.
This position requires the ability to work across a 7 day rota, covering hours between 07:30 and 22:00, offering flexibility and consistency for your client.
Experience in managing a home is essential, and experience caring for others is highly desirable.
This is a self employed position, and you'll be joining a small, passionate, professional team that truly cares about the work we do.
To join us, you must be able to provide:
- Proof of self employment status
- Relevant carer qualifications
- Valid carer insurance
- A suitable vehicle for transporting a collapsible wheelchair
If you're driven, compassionate, articulate, and ready to make a meaningful impact, this could be the perfect role for you
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living, patient care, or senior care
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
- Care Certificate
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- General IT skills
- Compassionate attitude with strong communication skills and patience when working with vulnerable individuals
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs
This role is ideal for caring professionals committed to providing high-quality support that enhances the quality of life for clients in need of specialised assistance.
