We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time PR & Fundraising Assistant, with a primary focus on planning, organising and delivering high-quality fundraising and supporter events that help improve the lives of people with learning disabilities.
This is a fantastic role for someone who is organised, creative, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact.
You'll join a friendly and busy team, supporting a well-established annual events calendar and helping us raise vital funds to deliver high-quality, person-centred support across the Trust.
Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of our annual fundraising and supporter events calendar
- Plan, organise and coordinate events, ensuring they are well-run, engaging and successful
- Assist with fundraising projects and initiatives, as directed by the Head of Fundraising
- Help grow our fundraising profile and supporter engagement
- Provide practical support to help meet fundraising targets
- Provide essential administrative support to the PR & Fundraising Team, including event logistics, communications and supporter records
We're looking for someone who...
- Is an excellent communicator and confident building relationships with staff, volunteers and supporters
- Is proactive, creative and flexible in their approach
- Has strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Has strong administration skills (events or fundraising experience is an advantage, but not essential — full training will be provided)
- Is motivated by making a difference and supporting a cause Has a professional and ethical approach to work
