We are seeking Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our dedicated hospice team, providing outstanding holistic care to patients and their families during the most challenging times of their lives.

Job Description:
As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a specialist palliative care setting.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patients with life-limiting illnesses, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and person–centred nursing care to patients with palliative and end-of-life care needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in line with hospice policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, allied health professionals, and support staff.
- Offer emotional and practical support to patients and their families, ensuring a sensitive and empathetic approach.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of palliative care services within the hospice.

What you will need:
- Registered nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- An interest in providing compassionate, high-quality care to people with life limiting illnesses.
- Experience in palliative care or similar (desirable but not essential, training will be provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
