Contract Outline:

Role: Civil Pipeline Design Engineer

Location: Macclesfield (hybrid working)

Sector: Wastewater

Contract Length: 12 months

Outside IR35

Rate: 50ph

Role Overview:

Design of civil infrastructure for the water sector, for feasibility, conceptual and detailed designs - namely focused on pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing Feasibility, Conceptual and Detailed Design documents.
• Produce Design drawings using AutoCAD 2D / 3D or AutoDesk Civil 3D (or similar) software (working alongside CAD Engineer).
• Preparing design packs for internal and external client reviews.
• Producing designs in accordance with the relevant client and water network design codes, regulations, specifications and procedures.
• Working in accordance with CDM Regulations 2015.
• Attending and participating in internal and external meetings to review designs.
• Pipeline / Valve support Drawings, General Arrangement Drawings, Thrust / anchor block Drawings, Site infrastructure Drawings

Key Skills / Qualifications

• Pipeline design experience is essential.
• Water / Wastewater experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects for Feasibility, Concept and Detailed Design projects.
• Experience in design of pipeline / diversion routes, connections, pumping station designs etc. is preferential.
• Civil (or similar) Engineering degree.
