Are you an experienced qualified counsellor that has a wealth of experience working within pre/anticipatory loss, bereavement and trauma?

What you'll do:

We are looking for a sessional counsellor to be part of our successful and supportive bereavement service and multidisciplinary team to provide psychological support by 1:1 counselling sessions/group work.

Like us, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to local people who journey through our bereavement service.

You will be a skilled professional counsellor/psychotherapist and be effective in utilising evidence-based modalities that demonstrate positive results when working with clients' unique traumas that are linked with their bereavement.

As a sessional counsellor, you will be providing psychological support to people – working with anticipatory loss and bereavement.

Most importantly you will be able to provide therapy that supports and empowers people on their unique bereavement journey.

Drawing upon your skill set 'to meet each individual where they are at' enabling an in-depth therapeutic relationship so change can occur naturally with high levels of care and compassion that puts the client at the centre of what we do.
