Workshop Controller - Macclesfield

Are you an experienced Workshop Controller looking to join a high-performing team? We have a fantastic opportunity based in Macclesfield with a well-established dealership.

Salary: Up to £37,000 basic (depending on experience)

Bonus potential up to £10,500

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm 1 in 2 Saturday mornings

As Workshop Controller, you'll be the driving force behind the workshop operations, ensuring the team works efficiently and effectively. You'll oversee technician performance, manage job flow, and support the service team to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the daily operations of a busy workshop

Allocate work to technicians and monitor productivity

Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines

Maintain high levels of customer service and communication between service advisors and workshop staff

Ensure health & safety and compliance procedures are followed

About You:

Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or in a senior technician/supervisory role

Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills

Excellent leadership and communication abilities

Organised, proactive and confident in managing a team
