A Macclesfield musician has released a groovy anthem for the LGBTQ+ community.

Nu-disco artist Hatty Keane's new track Coming Out is laced with infectious strings, smooth keys, and a smoky voice.

The three-and-a-half minute single, which echoes Clean Bandit and Dua Lipa, is her latest song released on BGM Entertainment.

"Every days a weekend, clap your hands and move around", are lyrics we can all relate to as we long for huge celebrations after the end of lockdown.

Hatty, who has 2,500 monthly listeners on Spotify, has shared the stage with Ed Sheeran and Rudimental.

"It is so lovely to be recognised by my hometown," she said.

"Macclesfield is a great town with such great history and so many creatives, I can only hope to inspire more people to go for their dreams just as I've been inspired by those around me."

Her danceable, soul-twinged tunes and retro fashion has earned her almost 50,000 followers on Instagram.

She has a further 25,000 fans on Facebook, and another 11,000 on Twitter.

The track, which encourages the listener to be free, can be listened to for free, right here.
