A Macclesfield runner has completed his challenge of running 10km every day for for 500 consecutive days.
Tom Stott crossed the finishing line at lunchtime on Wednesday, December 31, having run every single day since August 19, 2024.
In doing so, he has raised thousands of pounds for the mental health charity, Mind.
Around 50 runners accompanied Tom for his final 10k, with dozens more joining in the celebrations at Ye Olde Admiral Rodney in Prestbury.
Tom said: "I'm happy to achieve the 500 days, but I'm also sad it's over.
"I'll need to find something to replace it, for physical and mental health, I want to make sure that's still in a good place.
"It was a great turnout and amazing to raise so much for charity."

Tom's family have supported him along the journey and whilst he overcame his gambling addiction.
His partner, Tash Stott, said: "I'm so incredibly proud of Tom for having the courage to speak out about addiction and gambling specifically.
"Turning his life around hasn't been easy but he's been so honest and open, and he had to fully commit every step of the way.
"It takes real strength to be that vulnerable, and I admire him so much for using his experience to educate and help others."
Whilst mainly setting out to raise money for Mind charity, 30% of the money will also go to AFC Prestbury, Tom's local Sunday League team.
Dom Smith, a member of the AFC Prestbury board, said: "The money raised by Tom will a million percent put the club in a better position than when we started back in 2018 and leaves our Sunday league club in an extremely unique position.
"For the lads to have this type of unique support puts us in a position above and beyond other clubs, not only in our area but also the country."
A pair of sisters, Helen Morrison and Paula McCall, travelled four hours from central Scotland to support Tom after seeing his posts on social media.
Helen said: "We were impressed with his determination and mental fortitude, and to come and support someone who has done it for 500 days for a great cause.
"We saw him online and we like running so we thought we'd come down for a wee adventure and support."
Tom has raised over £6000 so far.
The GoFundMe page, available here, will stay open until the end of January.
