Macclesfield spa expands with new beauty services

A Macclesfield business have expanded their range of services.
Yui Shaw has joined the Naga Beauty and Spa of King Edward Street.
Naga already offered some beauty treatments, but are now able to offer even more, complex treatments with Nurse Yui's expertise.
The new services offered by Nurse Yui includes antiwrinkle treatment, filler treatment and more.
"My treatments include anti-wrinkle and aesthetics treatments," said Yui.
"I want to give the best experience to all my clients.
"A lot of clients, haven't had something like this before. And they can be scared about needles, but with my experience I can reassure them, give them information and give them a great quality treatment."
The new recruit - who professionally goes by Nurse Yui - is also a nurse at Macclesfield Hospital. She has been a nurse for ten years, and has worked at Macc's Victoria Road Hospital for the past year, and has now joined Naga too as a second means of employment.
It was her passion for caring for others, and administering injections in her NHS job, that began her journey to training as a beautician as well.
"As a qualified nurse, it has given me a great platform to enter this industry that I am passionate about," explained Yui.
"I wanted to expand my nursing skills, and clinical skills like using a needle has always beens something I was good at.
"And that is what inspired me to find aesthetics."
Trained at a top aesthetics school in Manchester, her high level of service is reflected with her five star reviews on her booking platform.
She will be available to book during Naga's regular opening hours. All clients have a consultation beforehand.
Amazingly, it was a chance meeting of mutual connections that got Yui her new role.
"I got the job here because one of my patients at my nursing job came to Kipsy [Day, Naga Spa Owner] for treatment", added Yui.
"She had a facial therapy massage at Naga Spa, and recommended me to come and meet her.
"We clicked immediately. We have got the same goal. We want to be the best with these services for people in Macclesfield."
The addition of Nurse Yui completes the long-term review that Naga owner Kipsy Day wanted to have for Naga, fusing the best of European and Asian spa styles, at an affordable price.
"Yui's personality is great", said Kipsy.
"She has lots of positive energy, and when we talked about all the knowledge she had, I was like 'wow'."
When asked about her favourite part about working at Naga, Nurse Yui had this to say: "When you give them treatment, and you see them look at themselves in the mirror, you see how much they love it. That is so rewarding, it makes my day and inspires me to learn more.
"In aesthetics, there is so much to learn. There are so many more services I could offer, like skin boosting. My goal in the next year is to be able to offer that.
"My message to people of Macclesfield who have supported me so far is thank you for trusting me.
"There are so many aesthetic, beauty clinics everywhere, but they chose me because they know they can trust me with my experience, and they know me as a person as well.
"For example, I have a nursing and doctor colleague who goes with me, because he knows I am such a good nurse."
