Update on Goyt Valley fire as crews work throughout the night to tackle blaze

Firefighters are continuing to battle a blaze near the Cat and Fiddle.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service have provided an update on the fire in the Goyt Valley.
A spokesperson for the service said: "Firefighters returned to the scene of a moorland fire near Errwood Reservoir in the Goyt Valley shortly be 7am hours this morning (May 1).
"Crews from Buxton, Glossop, Crich on-call and wholetime crews from Matlock, as well as four crews from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently in attendance assisted by two Argocats and the Command Support Unit.
"Support is also being provided by United Utilities, Derby Mountain Rescue Team and Peak District National Park rangers.
"Firefighters are using beaters, water backpacks and fogging units, to tackle the fire.
"The Cat and Fiddle A54 is currently open however the road known locally as the unnamed Derbyshire Bridge, between the Cat and Fiddle to Errwood Reservoir, is closed.
"Local residents are reminded to keep all windows and doors closed."

Speaking late on Wednesday night, Lindsay Page, county business leader for Manchester at United Utilities, said: "Catchment controllers and a catchment manager from United Utilities have been working with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service today (April 30) following reports of wildfire in the Goyt Valley near Buxton, Derbyshire.
"To contain the fire and prioritise public and environmental safety, we have also provided a helicopter with the means to transport water from our local reservoirs to help extinguish the flames and minimise damage."
In positive news, Forest Distillery have confirmed that the Cat and Fiddle will be back open from 11am today.
Melanie Selstrom, the distillery's marketing manager, said: "Luckily nobody was harmed and our building is in tact."
