The enclosed are pics that will be used in our u3a Military history group discussions over the next months. 23^rd Jan will be a talk by Alec Johnston about G/C G I Carmichael and his rise through the ranks of the Royal Flying corps in 1913 and his and his colleagues escapades in supporting the ground troops in the first world war around Amiens. The next talk on 13^th Feb will be by Past pilot, W/C Steve Chaskin on' Holding Saddam Hussain at bay and policing the Southern no-fly zone in Irac, which is followed on 27^th Feb by Brian Reader on flying helicopters in Aden and the far East.
