We are seeking a passionate and committed English teacher to join our thriving, oversubscribed secondary school in Macclesfield, from September until the end of the autumn term. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of English Language and Literature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English to GCSE level, adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners

• Contribute to curriculum planning and resource sharing within the department

• Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to students

• Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or extensive, proven classroom experience teaching English

• Strong track record of delivering excellent student outcomes

• Deep subject knowledge and a passion for English Language and Literature

• Confident, adaptable classroom management skills

• Ability to inspire and engage learners of all abilities through dynamic teaching

• Professional, resilient, and committed to maintaining high standards
