Job Title: School CaretakerLocation: Macclesfield, CheshireSalary: FlexibleContract Type: Full-time, long term (possible Temp to Permanent opportunity) About the RoleWe at Aspire People are delighted to announce we are now working alongside a primary school in South Manchester who are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our premises. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Working hours 7am-12pm but negotiable. Key Responsibilities Ensure the building and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Carry out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks. Monitor security systems and ensure premises are secure. Manage waste disposal and recycling. Report any issues or hazards promptly. Skills & Experience Previous experience in a caretaker or maintenance role is desirable. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
