The Fallibroome Academy are after a School Counsellor.

It is to fill in for someone going on maternity leave, offering 38 weeks per year (term-time only), up to 32.5 hours per week. 

Part-time applications are welcome. It pays NJC Grade 8, SCP 24-28 £22,864-£26,104 actual salary range (Hourly rate £16.12-£18.00, pro-rata for part-time). 

The job description states: "The Fallibroome Academy is a successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school in a lovely area on the edge of Macclesfield. We are fortunate to have supportive parents, a local community that values the school highly and pupils who are motivated and keen to learn. 

"We are seeking to appoint a qualified counsellor to join the Academy's Inclusion team. The School Counsellor provides a counselling service to pupils of the school across all year groups. 

"Working under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion) and in consultation with Heads of Years, Heads of Departments and individual subject teachers, the Counsellor will work with students and support them to cope with a diverse range of issues including bereavement, loss, eating disorders, self-harm, depression, anger management, erratic behaviour, abuse of any kind, anxieties and fears. 

They also have a sixth form.
