Macclesfield: COVID-19 cases up by almost 100 in a fortnight, as kids head back to school
Macclesfield Nub News brings you the latest COVID-19 data when you need it most.
As parents head back to the office, and their offspring prepare to go back to school, we have seen cases significantly rise.
The latest COVID-19 figures from GOV.UK reveal Macclesfield is approaching 300 active cases, a figure only set to increase as this week's heatwave and returning to school have not been taken into account.
The latest data, listed below, is for a positive test for coronavirus for the seven days leading to September 3 2021.
Please note: these figures are just before most children and teens went back to school, which is a largely unvaccinated population.
Brackets denotes the change from a fortnight ago, when we last published the latest COVID-19 figures for our town.
