Macclesfield FC have announced another new local company to sponsor them ahead of their debut season.

Macclesfield company Cheshire Demolition will support the Silkmen for the 2021/22 season.

The club's new partners were founded in 1984, and one of the biggest reclamation and salvage yards in the north west.

Cheshire Demolition have a comprehensive waste management and skip hire business covering Cheshire and South Manchester, which operates from their Macclesfield Moss Lane site.

Their site is just a minutes drive from Macclesfield FC's stadium.

Ellie Reynolds, Macclesfield FC's Commercial Manager stated:

"The Club is delighted to have added local business Cheshire Demolition to our list of partnerships and I am looking forward to working with them throughout the course of our historic 2021/22 campaign."

Stan Swindells, Cheshire Demolition Director said:

"Cheshire Demolition & Excavation Contractors Ltd are delighted to be on this exciting new journey with Macclesfield Football Club, as they prepare for their inaugural season.

"We have had the pleasure of working with the Club in the significant work that has already been undertaken – this has been no small task, but the project really has developed magnificently.

"We wish the Club every success in what promises to be an incredible season for everyone – not least all the loyal supporters who have had such a difficult year when you consider the impact of Covid-19 restrictions."

Cheshire Demoliton's three-acre reclamation yard is an essential place to visit for the avid 'up-cycler', an authentic property restoration or just a fascinating day out; where they offer reclaimed bricks, aggregates, grab hire, patio stone and architectural salvage.

The new Silkmen will play in the North West Counties Football League for the 2021/22 season.

Situated on Levels 9-10 on the football pyramid, Macc will be in the same league as local rivals such as Runcorn Town and Congleton Town.

Rob Smethurst launched the club to succeed Macclesfield Town FC on October 13 last year.

Pundit Robbie Savage is Head of Football for the club.

More information can be found on their website.
