The Mayor of Macclesfield's online charity auction has raised £1000 for local charities.
The event held virtually on Withyfold Drive, was held in partnership with Adam Partridge Auctioneers and Valuers.
Many of the items were connected to the town, from a limited edition Ian Curtis shirt, to idyllic pictures of Macclesfield's silk industry.
The 27 lots also included Treacle Market tote bags, and a hamper from Macclesfield's high-flying The Cheshire Cheese Company, which Nub News recently spoke to.
The hammer went down on all lots, with a total of £1000 raised for good causes.
The Mayor would like to thank Adam Partridge and his team, locals who donated an item to the auction, and to everyone who placed a bid.
The Mayor said, "I am thrilled by the generosity of Macclesfield residents, artists, businesses, Adam and his lovely family for their kindness.
The money raised will be much appreciated by the Cre8 and Macclesfield Seals and the local
people they support." All monies raised will added to the Mayor's fundraising to date and shared equally between her two charities at the end of the Mayor's term. Cre8 have been busy during the pandemic, organising FareShare food delivery throughout Macclesfield.
