Macclesfield good cause The Rossendale Trust have taken over the Macc Pop-Up Shop.

The charity on Hollin Lane in Sutton for adult supportive living care will be raising funds in the heart of Macclesfield.

The Macc Pop Up retail unit located in the town's Grosvenor Shopping Centre provides local, independent businesses with short term shop premises.

For the next week, the Trust will be selling printed, personalised gifts perfect for Mother's Day and Easter and all special occasions.

Gifts can be personalised by you and printed while you wait and include mugs, shopping bags, aprons, chopping boards and canvas prints.

There will also be greetings cards and artwork on sale and plenty of opportunity for the public to find out more about the work of the Trust and also about the career opportunities there.

The Trust are delighted to be supported by Macclesfield illustrator Adam Francis, who will have his prints available to purchase.

They are also generously supported by businesses Poppy May and Jola Designs (of Beech Lane) with a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of their goods being donated to the shop.

The Rossendale Trust provides support to adults with learning disabilities living in the local area and over the course of the week a number of those people whom the Trust supports, will be assisting in the shop.

So if you are out in town this week please pop in and say hello!

It will also be open on Mother's Day, which is also a Treacle Sunday.

The shop will open 10 am - 4 pm every day, closing at 4 pm on Sunday 27th March.

The temporary retail unit is nearest to the Market Place entrance of the Grosvenor.
