The Subway branch at Macclesfield Hope Park will be re-opening its doors on Monday (11th May) with new measures in place to maintain social distancing for staff and customers.

In an announcement on Facebook, Chris Gray, the regional manager for the chain, said they will be operating a takeout only service as well as home deliveries.

The store will be open 8am-7pm Monday to Saturday's and 9am-7pm on Sundays.

Mr Gray urged customers to take advantage of the click and collect service via the Subcard app to allow more customers to be served with less contact.

He added in his post: "We will have limited numbers who can be in the store with distancing measures in place.

"We will be sanitising touch points in store every 30 minutes with strict measures in place for staff to follow with extra PPE for staff to wear."

He went on to say that procedures and opening hours will be reviewed as they move along.
