A COVID-19 walk-in vaccination clinic is being held at a Macclesfield pharmacy on Thursday.

On July 8, Andrew's Pharmacy on Kennedy Avenue will be welcoming anybody over the age of 18 for a COVID-19 jab.

And the best part? No booking is required.

You can work around your busy schedule and show up whenever you like, for your appropriate vaccine.

Those who require their second dose of AstraZeneca to protect themselves from coronavirus, can come to Andrews anytime between 11am and 4pm on July 8.

Please note: you can only turn up for your second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine if your first dose was at least 8 weeks ago.

Those younger may want to get their first Pfizer jab.

But if you are waiting for your second Pfizer vaccine, you can also get it if it has been at least eight weeks since your first dose.

The Pfizer-Biontech walk-in vaccines are available from 4-6pm. Anybody aged 18 or over can drop-in.

The Macclesfield vaccination centre located at SK10 3DE was one of first pharmacy-led sites in the country. to start providing jabs.

You can already get walk-in jabs at the Alderley Park Vaccination Centre, which we reported on last month.

Tomorrow we will reveal the latest vaccination figure for our area.

Here are last weeks figures for Macclesfield.
