The Barnaby Festival is on the lookout for new trustees to support their work as a local charity in Macclesfield.

The organisers of the popular festival, as well as a range of other initiatives to get people involved in the arts, are looking for volunteers with a "wide range of skills".

In a statement, the charity said: "Our trustees are crucial in helping us plan for the future of the festival as well as delivery of Barnaby events and activities this year.

"As a charity our objectives are to support participation and engagement in culture and heritage in the town which makes a difference to the quality of life and livelihood for those who live, work and play in Macclesfield."

Trustees would be required to give a "small number of hours each month" and should have "leadership skills, financial management, social media and communications, fundraising or events management experience."
