Chance to buy part of White Nancy landmark

Part of White Nancy is up for sale.
A 6.05-acre plot of land in Kerridge has hit the market, priced at £900,000.
Until recently, the site had been used as a riding school and so features a range of stables, a manege, a hardstanding yard area, three grass paddocks and wooded areas.
However, what perhaps sets this plot apart is that it includes 'just under half' of White Nancy.
The listing reads: "Beyond the woodland is a further paddock and overlooking the entire land at the top of the hill is the locally renowned monument of White Nancy and the Land Registry boundary is shown on the title plan to run broadly through the centre of the monument.
"From the monument there are impressive far reaching panoramic views from all sides over Bollington, Rainow, the Cheshire Plain and the Peak District National Park."

There is already permission for a detached house, planning reference 24/4428/FUL.
However, the listing states that there is 'further potential for residential development' to the left of the entrance drive, where there is currently a single storey brick building.
In April 2023, planning consent was granted for it to be converted into a teaching space with a kitchen, toilet facilities and parking provision.
Prior to that, in 2004, consent was given for it to be turned into a micro-brewery.
