There is mega discounts on movie tickets at Cinemac this weekend.

Macclesfield's only cinema will be participating in National Cinema Day 2022.

While the initiative will be taking place in hundreds of cinemas across the country on Saturday September 3 2022, the Roe Street cinema have decided to let the deals run for a second day.

This means you'll also get discounted films and snacks on Sunday September 4 as well.

Cinemac Director Jordan Wilson revealed what the weekend for the venue inside of The Heritage Centre has to offer.

"All our red and luxe seats are just £3 for Saturday and Sunday," said Jordan.

"This is down from the regular price of £7 for adults and £5 for kids.

"The two seater sofas will be a tenner £5 per person [price reduced by £10]. And a three seater sofa will be half-price at £15. It is all just to celebrate cinema really."

"To celebrate we've got the 40th anniversary of E.T, we've brought Minions 2 back for the kids, and Idris Elba's new film Three Thousand Years of Longing as well.

"And the extended edition of Spiderman: No Way Home will be only played this weekend so it is a very limited chance to watch it as well.

"We've also got Fisherman's Friends 2.

"There will be deals on popcorn and slushies throughout the days as well."

Please note: Drinks and certain snacks will not be on sale. But all tickets will be for this two-day event.

The ticket details can be accessed on the door, so no pre-booking is required.
