A family-run bed store is coming to Macclesfield.

The M6 Bed Warehouse is taking over the former Tile Giant unit near B&Q.

Having already enjoyed success with branches in Alsager and Northwich, company director Louis Mitchell is delighted to secure a new location.

The 34-year-old said: "We believe our showroom will complement the area perfectly, giving customers another great reason to visit.

"We're excited to open in Macclesfield and look forward to bringing our expertise and passion to serve the local community.

"Macclesfield has always been an area we've wanted to serve more directly.

"We've delivered to customers there for years, and we're now excited to create a dedicated base to bring our knowledge, passion and expertise to the town."

M6 Beds was founded by Louis' father, Jeff Mitchell, in 2001, starting out in a modest 1,000 sq ft warehouse in Alsager.

Over the next decade, the business grew significantly, expanding into a 12,000 sq ft store.

Jeff's sons joined the team and in 2024, M6 Beds opened a second store, in Northwich.

Following this success, they are now expanding again.

The fit-out of the Macclesfield store is already underway, with an opening planned for late May or early June.

Louis, 34, said: "As a family-run business, we're passionate about delivering first-class customer service, expert advice and a relaxed, no-pressure shopping experience.

"We encourage customers to take their time, test products properly and feel completely comfortable when choosing their bed.

"We offer free delivery and free recycling of your old bed to ensure your new bed gets to you safely, and your old bed is removed responsibly.

"As true bed specialists, we offer everything from entry-level options to luxury models, alongside a wide range of storage solutions and leading brands – creating a comprehensive and enjoyable buying experience."
