Fire crew called to Poplar Road

At 2pm this afternoon, a fire engine from Macclesfield was called to Poplar Road following reports of a fire in the open.
On arrival the crew found a small fire involving a tree stump located off the road.
A water back pack was used to extinguish the flames.
