Live Footie

Ilkeston come to Macclesfield is at the Leasing.com Stadium this weekend.

Derbyshire club Ilkeston will make the 52 mile trip up to Macc this Saturday.

It is The Robins vs The Silkmen, from 3pm, on London Road.

Palestine Event

Will you free my Palestine?

Valentine's may have been and gone by Saturday, but that doesn't mean the love-themed events have stopped.

On Exchange Square, outside WHS Smith, there will be a gathering in support of Palestine.

Free to attend.

The event organisers said: "Come and share our love for Palestine - come and collect a heart to put up in your house/car to show you care.

"The Palestinians think the world has forgotten them - show them that isn't the case. Post a picture of your Palestinian heart on your social media so Palestinian people all around the world can see you support them. "

Quiz Night

Held at the The Cock in Henbury, Chelford Road.

A pub a few miles out of Macclesfield is hosting a Saturday evening pub quiz.

The Cock, Henbury is running a Quiz night with cash prizes. 

It costs £5 per head, teams of 4, two pizzas per team included and after quiz win more cash with higher or lower. 

Starts 7pm.

Live Music

The theme is 'Music and Nature' for this weekend's Northern Chamber Orchestra performance, directed by violinist Zoë Beyers.

Last Burlesque Event

Jinn Legion's Burlesque Speakeasy

It is the final burlesque event at the current incarnation of The Swan with Two Necks.

One week before the current publican leaves after 19 years, there will be a burlesque event at the Chestergate pub.
