HR Officer

This is an interim contract for around 11 months with an anticipated start of June/July. The role will report into a HR Manager and have administration support.

The role is extremely generalist and will focus on supporting a start up HR function servicing around 150 employees across the country.

Supporting with advising, case management, policy development and recruitment, the role is a fantastic opportunity for an established HR Generalist to gain exposure and work closely to the manager on project related activity.

The ideal candidate will be immediately available, CIPD qualified and have established experienced in the generalist field.

You will be tenacious and resilient to work in the medical sciences sector.

Experience in a start up HR function in the health care sector is desirable but not essential.

• Delivering in vitro data according to the study plan as agreed with the team leader or project supervisor
• Designing, performing and interpreting cell biology and mechanism-of-action in vitro studies, such as growth inhibition and survival assays, western blotting and immunofluorescence
• Providing expert interpretation of the data, identifying innovative solutions to problems and putting forward plans for further experiments.

Requirements:

• PhD or 3 years of relevant industrial laboratory experience in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, pharmacology or a related field
• Evidence of strong technical and experimental ability to deliver data from the lab
