A Macclesfield creative will premiere his short film in the town next week.

Thomas Broadhead will screen his film STUNNER in Cinemac, on Roe Street, next Thursday.

The short film is about a successful vintage football shirt business, started by two Ukrainians who had to leave the country due to the ongoing war.

The short film will be followed by Q&A with the director and cast.

STUNNER tells the story of Macclesfield residents Serge Shcherbyna and Polina Vynohradova, who operate the shop of the same name.

Filmmaker Thomas Broadhead told Macclesfield Nub News: "Thank you to everyone who comes down on Thursday."

"As much as the story is interesting, I think people will also be interested as it is a film set in Macclesfield, by a Macclesfield filmmaker."

Thomas is a film director from Macclesfield, producing films through his production company Different Gravy
