A businesswoman who works in Tytherington has won a national award.

Louise Ray of Precision Card Services (PCS) has been named as Marketing & Communications Director of the Year by Acquisition International Magazine in its 8th annual Influential Businesswoman Awards.

The awards recognise and shine a light upon women who are a driving force for innovation, change, and empowerment. Across various fields and the four countries of the UK, this year's programme is home to a fantastic number of women guiding and elevating their industries – for the sake of progression, efficiency, and equality.

Louise, who has worked for the Redwood Court firm since September 2015, had this to say on her accolade.

"I am thrilled to have received this award," said Louise.

"It means a lot that someone not only took the time to nominate me, but that this award was given based on my ability to demonstrate expertise in my field and a passion for what I do, and I am grateful to PCS for the support they have shown me."

It is not the only reason to celebrate at the business of late. Precision Card Services celebrated their 30th annviersary earlier this year.

Adam Unsworth, Managing Director of Precision Card Services added "I'm so pleased to see Louise receiving the plaudits I know she fully deserves. Her hard work, determination and best-in-class expertise, not to mention her ability to wear many hats, puts PCS in a very fortunate position. Louise would be an asset to any organisation, we're lucky to have her onboard."

Louise was previously Market Communications Manager at the Tytherington company, before becoming a Director of Marketing and Communications three years ago.

Awards Coordinator Jessie Wilson took a moment to comment on the success of the winners: "I applaud our winners for their tenacity, sincerity, and passion for their respective businesses and fellow human beings.

"Regardless of the challenges faced as women, these individuals have worked hard and risen to the top – so that they may influence and aid the rest of the world. Congratulations."

Acquisition International 'prides itself on the validity of its awards and winners. The awards are given solely on merit and are awarded to commend those most deserving for their ingenuity and hard work, distinguishing them from their competitors and proving them worthy of recognition'.
