A Macclesfield-based charity dedicated to helping young people has achieved national recognition for the quality of its support.
Just Drop-In's counselling service has officially secured accreditation from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
This follows an 18-month accreditation process and recognises the charity's commitment to providing high-quality counselling services for young people across Cheshire East.
Ann Wright, chief officer at Just Drop-In, said: "I could not be more proud!
"It's taken 18 months to achieve, but has been much longer in the making, with many people contributing in many different ways."
Just Drop-In provides free counselling and wellbeing support to young people aged 11-25 across Macclesfield and Cheshire East.
Its services are designed to help young people navigate challenges, improve their mental health and build confidence for the future.

The BACP accreditation recognises the quality of the charity's counselling service and its commitment to maintaining professional standards.
Just Drop-In is now one of only 142 accredited counselling services in the United Kingdom, with only 30 located in the North of England and no others in Cheshire East.
Tim Roca, the MP for Macclesfield, has praised the the charity on achieving this national recognition.
He said: "Congratulations to everyone at Just Drop-In on achieving BACP accreditation.
"This recognition reflects the dedication of the team and the quality of the free counselling they provide for young people across our area.
"Having somewhere to turn, where you feel listened to and supported, can make an enormous difference to a young person's life.
"We are fortunate to have Just Drop-In in our community, and everyone involved should be very proud of this achievement."
