Macclesfield's independent cinema in an iconic building has added more comfortable seating.

Cinemac have introduced a new middle-tier of seats, which make going to see the latest releases even more pleasant.

The new Luxe seats are larger, offer more legroom, and are padded for your comfort.

Two back rows of red chairs their solitary theatre have been moved into storage, and replaced with 25 of the new Luxe seats.

Cinemac Director Jordan Wilson is elated with the improvements to the three-year-old cinema.

"The biggest complaint we have ever got was about the comfort of the red seats, said Jordan.

"It is great having the Arighi Bianchi Luxury Sofas, but if you come to the cinema on your own, or if the sofas are sold out, the Luxe seats offer another luxury option to enjoy our films.

"The seats will be always available for all showings, and also our upcoming Queen and ABBA tribute band concerts."

The new seats are an all-Macclesfield affair. They were installed by CoRe Property Services, and were supplied by Macclesfield furniture icons Arighi Bianchi.

"It is great to work with local businesses," added Jordan.

"And you know if you sit on an Arighi seat, that it is going to be incredible comfortable, which our new Luxe seats are."

The new seats were first enjoyed for the new Top Gun movie, where guests relaxed into the new chairs in a sold-out showing..
