Macclesfield: Do you recognise this moustachioed man?

Officers investigating a shoplifting incident at a store in Macclesfield have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

The incident is reported to have occurred at around 1.55pm on Monday 13 May at the Tesco store on Exchange Street, Macclesfield.

During the incident, two unknown men exited the store without paying for around £300 worth of alcohol products.

Later that day, the same two men entered the Sainsbury's store on Middlewich Road, Nantwich, and left without paying for a number of items.

Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to these incidents.

PCSO Melisa Mellor said: "As part of our enquiries, we are appealing for any witnesses to these incidents to get in touch with us to help progress our investigation.

"The same goes for anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image as we believe he may hold vital information.

"We would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to get in touch with us."

Anyone with information is urged to contact Cheshire Police quoting IML-1822630 via the Cheshire Police website or call 101.

Information can be passed on to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 or via the Crimestoppers website.
