Macclesfield dog found abandoned in faeces seeks fur-ever home
A Macclesfield hound is after a new owner, after being found alone in squalor.
Two-and-a-half year old Loki, is a gorgeous greyhound crossbreed after a fur-ever home.
The dog, which is currently being fostered in Macclesfield, had a ruff start to life.
An amputee, this male mutt could also end up finding out permanent home in our town.
"Loopy Leggy Loki should be this one's full name," said RSPCA Macclesfield.
"If you've had lurchers before you'll know exactly what we mean.
"Loki was reported as abandoned earlier this year. Loki was found lots of poo in the flat, being left alone days at a time.
"The owner turned up during a second visit from RSPCA officers. Loki was signed over.
"He then spent 2½ months in emergency private boarding under the National Society waiting for ar rehoming branch to take him in, that's where we come in.
"The staff there couldn't fault him.
"Sadly, due to constant tail wagging and whipping and being a big dog with a long tail in a kennel, he badly injured his tail which had to be amputated.
"If you would like to offer Loki a home please contact our Rehoming Co-ordinator on [email protected]."
