Macclesfield: Four-days of filming near Pym Chair

By Alex Greensmith

16th Aug 2021 | Local News

Cameras were in Macclesfield over the weekend, as filming took place in our countryside.

Road signs at Pym Chair Car Park indicated that traffic would pile up on the country road, due to the film vehicles and need for silence between takes.

According to UKClimbing.com, "Windgather Rocks at Kettleshulme was the focus for the shoot on Friday the 13th and Monday 16th August."

Kettleshulme's Side End Lane was swamped with crew during day light hours.

The aforementioned source stated it was for a "brand new TV drama" by Sky Studios.

Macclesfield Nub News have contacted Sky Studios for comment.

Another potential option is the Sky comedy-drama Brassic.

The show, which stars Michelle Keegan, is currently filming around the north west of England.

There are four production companies which have produce the previous two series of the show.

These are Calamity Films, Mad Dog 2020, Niche Casting Agency, and Norf Casting.

Macclesfield Nub News has contacted all of these for comment.

We will update this article with further information as it comes.
