Macclesfield Greggs shut until after Valentine's Day

By Alex Greensmith 1st Feb 2023

You won't be able to get the love of your life a Greggs pasty this Valentine's Day, as it is shut for a fortnight.

The Greggs inside Macclesfield's Grosvenor Centre will be shut for the first two weeks of February.

It will aim to reopen on February 16. The store is currently undergoing a refurb.

Greggs have been contacted for comment.

In the meantime, here are some independent Macclesfield pasty-makers you can support:

  • Coffee Beans Cafe (also in the Grosvenor)
  • Ethos Concept Store (To the left of the Grosvenor Chestergate exit)
  • N Carter and Co (Butchers, pastry and piemaker on Church Street)
  • Olive Open Kitchen and Deli (Opposite the Ian Curtis mural on Mill Street)
  • Cheshire Cat (Also to the east of Chestergate, but on opposite side to Ethos)
