Police in Macclesfield have launched an appeal for a person connected to recent incidents in our town.

The adult male is believed to have been connected to both a theft and assault.

Cheshire Police released an image and statement regarding the wanted man.

"Do you know the whereabouts of 36-year-old James McNally?," they said.

"We're looking to speak to him in connection with a theft and assault in Macclesfield.

"If you know where he is call us on 101, or visit this webpage, quoting IML 1134066."
