A Macclesfield signs and graphics business has been put up for sale.

Signs Express Macclesfield - one of 60 Signs Express stores across the UK and Ireland - is now available to buy.

The branch, of 2 Fence Avenue, is a franchise that is put up for sale for someone to take over for £30,000.

The listing at BusinessesforSale.com reads: "Established in 2018, Signs Express Macclesfield has been operating for six years and has built a solid customer base, excellent local reputation for bespoke signage solutions with excellent customer care and all of the necessary equipment required, offering a low-cost entry into business ownership for an entrepreneurial individual."

"As a small centre with the current owner running all aspects of the business, this centre offers a cost-effective venture and unique opportunity for a new owner looking to take their first step into business ownership and shape an established business to suit you and carve out a niche in your area.

"With annual turnover in the region of £130,000, this centre has got huge potential to grow in an area under regeneration and with nearly 10,000 businesses in the territory.

"Signs Express Macclesfield's current owner is selling the business as he has plans to emigrate to France, leaving a solid business opportunity for a new owner, allowing someone to take a start-up style business at a fraction of the usual cost."

Let's hope a new franchise owner can be found so the business can remain open, and jobs be preserved.

Signs Express Macclesfield were contacted on Tuesday May 14 for comment.
