A Macclesfield pub is ramping up their drive for more bar staff, in the run up to Christmas.

The Society Rooms, a Wetherspoons pub on Park Green, is seeking multiple new staff members.

The ideal applicants

Staff are required to serve drinks and food, processing orders at bar and via the pub's app.

The part-time roles will pay £9.40 an hour.

"We're looking for fun, enthusiastic, passionate people to join our hard-working teams," said the listing.

"We open our doors early in the morning and sometimes don't close them until late at night, so we offer a great flexibility of working hours.

"You'll get a free meal and a drink, when working a four-hour shift, a 50% discount on food and soft drinks, when working; a 20% discount on all food, drinks and hotel accommodation when not working, and £1 extra per hour, for hours worked between midnight and 5.59am."

You'll work about 18 hours a week, and be eligible for holiday pay.

Please note: you must be over 18 to serve on the bar.

The Park Green pub was named after the 19th century building once being used for the Macclesfield Society for Acquiring Useful Knowledge.
