For this week's Macclesfield Nub News Job of the Week, we're trying something a little different.

Instead of spotlighting one of the hundreds of jobs featured on the Macclesfield Nub News Jobs section, we're highlighting a job that is from a little further afar, but we think is appropriate for Macc Nub readers.

This Transport Administrator Job, is just a short 20 mile drive from our town in Winsford.

The Transport Admin role offers £10.50 per hour, and two shift patterns throughout the week, so you can have lie-ins on some days if you like, or take the kids to school.

Working hours are either 6am-2:30pm or 11am - 7:30pm, with both time windows being eight-and-a-half hours each.

To keep the non-stop nature of logistics going, you'll ensure vehicles are serviced, safe and sound through a series of checks. You'll produce operational and vehicle maintenance statistics, publishing reports on these in a timely manner.

Other data entry includes sorting payroll info for all transport staff, and keeping a keen eye on fuel stocks.

Accuracy, administration and meeting deadlines are key skills for this role.

As well as the £89.25 per day pay, an extra perk of the job is the casual dress code.

There's also 28 days annual holiday, which is more than most jobs.

Experience of working in an administrative role for at least one year is a requirement. And the start is immediate.
