Macclesfield: It is all change on Mill Street, as a former store could be turned into a bar.

An empty unit on Mill Street could become Macclesfield's latest bar.

That is as a change of licence application has been submitted to Cheshire East Council for a premises in a former shop.

98 - 100 Mill Street - which is next to The Shamrock Bar - used to be a school clothing store.

However, following Finesse Schoolwear's move to the Wood Street Mill, Pickford Street, the retail unit has remained empty.

Now, could become a bar as an application to allow the premises to serve alcohol and play music has been submitted.
