Macclesfield man charged with attempting sexual communications with a child

A Macclesfield man has been charged with attempting to engage in sexual communications with a child.
The man, identified as Daniel Quigley, was arrested by police on Sunday evening outside of the Shell garage on Broken Cross.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 7.20pm on Sunday 30 August police were called to reports of an incident at Broken Cross roundabout. Officers attended the scene and arrested a 47-year-old."
Quigley appeared at Warrington Magistrates Court yesterday where he was granted conditional bail.
The next hearing is due to be heard at Chester Crown Court on 29 September.
