Macclesfield Musician Hatty Keane Releases New Single 'Club 69'

By Alex Greensmith 10th May 2021

A stylish Macclesfield musician has released a powerful new song to celebrate women.

Hatty Keane (26), who has almost 500,000 streams on Spotify, is having a productive 2021 full of groove-inducing singles.

Her new release Club 69, is a cinematic nu disco track, twinged with funk guitars.

While Hatty was born in Salford, she was raised in Macclesfield.

She had this to say to Macclesfield Nub News and her hometown, at the release of Club 69.

"It is so lovely to be recognised by my hometown," said Hatty.

"Macclesfield is a great town with such great history and so many creatives, I can only hope to inspire more people to go for their dreams just as I've been inspired by those around me.

"Club 69 is a celebration of women. I wanted this song to come on and make every girl feel like the sassiest queen in the room. As women we spend a lot of time worrying about how people perceive us.

"Club 69 is about finding freedom in just being you, and realising it's our quirks that make us truly beautiful."

Hatty's retro fashion is inspired by 1960s and 1970s styles, which has earned her 44,000 followers on Instagram.

The Macc-raised performer cannot wait to return to performing in person, where she has previously shared the stage with Ed Sheeran and Rudimental.

With one listen of her new song, you can feel life slowly returning and Club 69 will be the place to go and shake it all down with your friends.

Hatty has promised plenty more music for this year.
