Macclesfield: 'Resilience is key to GCSE glory' reveals King's School
Character, resilience and a wide range of interests are the keys to academic success according to the King's School's Head of Foundation Jason Slack.
Talking after his GCSE pupils recorded another stunning set of results, with a superb 59% of all grades at 9 to 7 or (A* A), Mr Slack, said: "We are incredibly proud of this year's GCSE students.
"These results are the outcome of a huge amount of hard work from a talented group of pupils. The results continue the school's sustained, upward trajectory of academic achievement.
"Our inspirational learning environment and innovative teaching have helped our young people to reach the highest academic standards, alongside their strength of character, resilience and wide range of interests.
"I look forward to welcoming this group of pupils back to our Sixth Form where, no doubt, they will go on to further success."
