The previous two events have been fully-booked, and they hope the third will be as well. The event takes place this Thursday, upstairs in Rootstock, Bollington.

A new wellness event will take place in the Macclesfield area this week.

Just because January is over, doesn't mean the 'New Year, New You' mentality is out the window.

From Self-Sabotage to Self-Compassion is a wellness event which will take place this Thursday at a new community space in Bollington.

The ticketed event will take place at the new space above Rootstock on Palmerston Street, this Thursday from 6:30pm.

The event is brought by new local events company Pine Needle Events.

The event takes place for 90 minutes, and the ticket link is below.

It will be the first of a series of wellbeing events covering a different theme each time.

First up, is Lindsey Beveridge, a qualified coach and nutritionist is coming over from Chorlton.

Lindsey has previously held events at ROOTSTOCK about the impact sugar has on us. And there will be a new theme this Thursday.

The sessions aim to help the mind, body and soul.

Organiser Claire Kerksham said: "I attended Lindsey's workshops myself and they left me in awe, such an incredible story and amazing wealth of knowledge. So, I asked her to come along to Bollington to share her wisdom.

"If we can help just one person, then it is all worth while.

"The events are priced low so as not keep these sessions accessible and not create barriers. If somebody would like to attend but unable to contribute £20 then please do get in touch with me.

"This theme, 'From Self-Sabotage to Self-Compassion' addresses behaviours that we learn over time in response to our external environment.

"We all have our own stories, and these stories leave imprints that affect our health and wellbeing.

"To help us cope and feel safe as we move through life, we develop strategies that can often show up as cyclic repetitive patterns of behaviour. And sometimes these patterns can end up sticking around for much longer than is helpful.

"Our sessions will offer insight into these patterns, so you can then take action to help you make life-changing shifts in behaviour."

Tickets for this this Thursday's event can be bought on this link or this link.
