It is the second Treacle Market of the year. The best moment of the month, where our town well and truly thrives.
Given February being the shortest month of all, it feels this month's Treacle has come awfully quick!
Here's our guide of what is new to explore in Macclesfield from half ten to three this Sunday February 27.
"The big thing this month is the barbers gazebo outside the Old Butter Market called Jimmy Scissors," said Co-Organisers of the Treacle Market Becky Thompson.
"The barbers gazebo has kindly been donated to us by Macclesfield Town Council. We've invested in a nice barbers chair as well. No bookings are required.
"It is a great way to try and increase footfall there. Along with the ice cream van there.
"Other new stuff include on the town centre cobbles we've got a new local artist called Ken Hurd. We've also got a new bookseller called Garrick Books.
"We're doing another collaboration with Macclesfield College, where their students have got an art stall. There will be quite a variety of art they are selling, and benefits their studies.
"The money will go to the kids. And they will be on Unicorn Gateway, as it is our 'unofficial Northern Quarter' so I thought the vibes fit quite well.
"Also new is Four Legs Wood upholstery. They've got great up cycled chairs and furniture."
"Foodwise there is nothing new this month, but the newish stall Halloumination will be on Five Clouds again, and the rest of the food on Castle Street.
"The bar is from Brewbox, and will be next to the stage in the town centre. Entertainment will be Annie's Saints and Sinners as usual.
"We've also the local branch of Rock Choir who haven't come before, and as the name suggests they'll sing rock songs in a choral way. There's live jazz from Dos Equis as well.
"Another change is our wonderful blacksmith Great Oak Forge has moved from the Old Butter Market to Exchange Street.
"It will try and draw attention up a street that is quieter than others, as Ben Cooper of Great Oak Forge does live demos of his products."
