There's one less empty unit on Chestergate, as a new top-of-the-range beauty beauty salon comes to Macclesfield.

Mia Bella Beauty Salon & Academy, located on 16 Chestergate is now open for business.

Mia Bella is the brainchild of Co-Owners Kyiis Charles and Mia Cronin, a mother-daughter duo who have brought the new business to Macclesfield.

Mum Mia specialises in semi-permanent make-up. And also teaches beauty courses, and will do from the Academy upstairs in the building.

Daughter Kyiis will be the day-to-day organiser for the salon, serving also as their receptionist and social media presence.

"We do high end beauty treatment at an affordable price," said Kyiis.

"We're not just a beauty salon, we're an academy too," said Mia.

"We want to offer more than just the normal beauty treatments. And we pride ourselves on our free consultation.

From semi permanent make up, to profhilo anti-ageing, to dermal fillers. The new Chestergate beauty business also offers facials, PDO thread lifting, anti-wrinkle injections, vein removal, fat dissolving, and eyelash extensions.

With plans to take on more staff, they are also hoping to offer more make up, hair extensions, and BIAB nails services.

"It is amazing working with my mum," Kyiis revealed.

"She inspires me with her work ethic and she has taught me everything."

"We are actually best friends," Mia said on going into business with her 22-year-old daughter.

"We get on so well. We live together, work together, go out together. Watch movies together."

The business already has over 4,000 followers on social media.

It is the second salon and academy of this kind the family business have opened.

Kyiis and Mia have 25 years of beauty experience combined.

"Our customer care is really important to us. And that goes with the teaching as well," Mia commented.

"All our Academy courses are online courses. That gives single mums and busy people the chance to learn what they are doing at their own pace.

"Once they've completed the course, we mark their exam and if they pass, they will have a day or two doing a practical here in the salon.

"And once they have left the course with their qualification but still feel like they need more support, I offer free one-to-one sessions with them to give them confidence with their skills. We don't think any other academy does that."

The salon is open now, but there will be an official ceremony to celebrate the new business on Friday May 27 from 4pm to 10pm.

"We're so excited for people to come and see how beautiful our new salon is," added Kyiis.

"As thanks, we are offering free glasses of champagne to anyone who spends over £100 with us in the salon."

"We want to be a part of this community and help them like they already have helped us," concluded Mia.

"I love how cute and quaint the buildings are in Macclesfield, and how quirky the high street is. And the clientele seem lovely as well," Mia said on her favourite things about our town.

"I also love how there is nothing like us here."

"We love that Macclesfield is the beating heart of Cheshire. We would love to be on The Real Housewives of Cheshire," joked Mia.

Mia Bella currently has six staff.

One of the new hires is Macclesfield Prestbury Road resident Kerry Anderson.

"I do botox fillers, advanced aesthetics, vitamin boosting and skin injections," she said.

"I can't wait to get started here."

Macclesfield: Mia Bella are seeking to hire more staff.

Anyone who is a Lash Technician, a wizard at Hair Extensions or make-up, or has experience in BIAB nails should get in touch with them on social media.

Macclesfield: You can follow the latest addition to our high street on Facebook and Instagram.

Their opening times are 9:30am to 6:30pm Tuesday-Saturday.
